psmon is a process monitoring utility

it is implemented as a Python wrapper to some usual *NIX command line
tools such as ps and grep

it should work fine with python 2.4, 2.5, or 2.6 on any OS with a
POSIX compliant version of ps and gnu grep (i use it everyday on
several different environments - linux, solaris, opensolaris, and
freebsd - with Python 2.4, 2.5, and 2.6)
