==== Description: ====
A clone of the 1989 shareware game ARMY, by Dwain Goforth.
It can (still) be found on this shareware cd:
http://www.archive.org/details/cdrom-sharewareext19931
It is a 2-player turn-based strategy game, where players try to "capture the
flag".
==== Other Software Required: ====
- libgtkmm, libglibmm >= 2.4 (2.18.2)
- SDL >= 1.2.0 (used for sound)
to be found at http://www.libsdl.org
- SDL_mixer >= 1.2.6 (used for sound)
there should be a link on the sdl home page
- expat
an XML parser to be found under http://expat.sf.net.
- libtar >= 1.2.11
a library for managing tar files. Found at: http://www.feep.net/libtar
- libsigc++ >= 2.0
to be found at http://libsigc.sf.net
==== Other Comments: ====
The copyright holder on the images, sounds, and manual has graciously agreed
to license them under the terms of the GPLv3, and GFDLv1.2. The tarball
contains a PDF of the mail from the copyright holder, Dwain Goforth.
I have added copyright and licensing information inside the .ogg files and
.png files, as well as in README files located in the same directories as the
media files.
