Follow-up Comment #28:

All packages hosted on Savannah should follow its requirements, and one of
those requirements is having valid copyright and license notices.  If the
maintainers of the package don't care to understand what it means (and you
evidently don't), the package is in no way going to follow that policy.

Under such circumstances I have few options but to cancel your submission. 
I'm sure you'll understand my decision.
