I am not sure if it was you I was discussing the previous version with. Anyway
I have added man page patch. So what may be wrong still?

I'd love to have a lazy version of screen. Do you plan it for 4.0.4?

No, I wan't. I had such a sinful thought but if the original developers are
still alive I am not going to disturb in the development. Maybe I could help a
little e.g. by applying my sockdir/status patch - if you accept it.
