Hi donothing
Why do both use PROMPT_COMMAND to output your prompts?
I use it to set the window title as described here: http://www.delorie.com/gnu/docs/screen/screen_51.html It sets the title to my current directory so that in screen I have a windowlist that looks like this: [...] 18 address@hidden:~/projects/african-parliaments $ 19 address@hidden:~ $ 20 address@hidden:~/repos/svk/bungeni-portal $ 21 address@hidden:~/repos/svn/svn.plone.org/instancemanager-trunk $ 22 address@hidden:~/repos/bzr/googlecode.com/bungeni-repo/bungeni-portal $ 23 address@hidden:~/repos/bzr/code.launchpad.net !$ 24 address@hidden:~/repos/bzr $ 25 address@hidden:~/repos/bzr/code.launchpad.net/bzr-repo/bzr.0.17 $ 26 address@hidden:~/repos/bzr/code.launchpad.net/bzr-repo/bzr.dev $ 27 address@hidden:~/repos/svk/ArchGenXML-trunk $ [...] -- jean . .. .... //\\\oo///\\
