I have no plans but am open to the idea. I think it's telling that EA 
(Maxis) decided to stick with isometric for it's most recent Sim City.

Yes this is an area that needs improvement. Andreas, what do you mean by 
hardware acceleration? Isn't SDL doing that already when I flip the 
pages?
