I assume that you are running the latest code from git.
What do you see in the console after running? I mean output of python
silpa/__init__.py ? Do you see any errors messages there?

So just let us know which version of source code are you using? is it
latest from git? if not I prefer you checkout source from savannah
git.
Also as santhosh asked do you see any error messages in console when
you run silpa as stand alone?

i.e python src/silpa/__init__.py

If you can provide us error message it will be easy for us to debug!
