Have you seen the that there is a new sub-project "simulavrxx" which is able to
handle the ports as connected pins? You can simply connect port pins by tcl
script or also in a c or c++ program. It is also possible to connect pins to
tcl/tk gui where you can change the pin state via mouse click. Also you are
able to simulate multiple avr devices in one simulation run and also with
different operation frequencies and you could connect there pins via a pinlist.
Please use the actual cvs version, there are fixed some bugs which are not
contained in the downloaded tgz file. How to check out the cvs simulavrxx
projet? Please look on the project page :-)
Hope that helps
Klaus

Original Submission: Hi,
It is possible to use the display-programm-interface also to query
PINx-Information?
My AVR Program reads a lot from Ports. As "Enter the Value read from 0x??" is
for that not a good option (manually entering Port-values), i want to automate
this:
Out of this, two questions arise:
- Is this feature already in simulavr
- If not, is there demand to implement that (it could be done by me,
but I need suggestions/discussions how to implement that best...)
Just let me know
Tobi
