You are right! I have nothing done on the project for more then one
year. And I was not exited of hearing every user crying for broken
autotools. So I placed my last local work area sources which have many
patched applied. And it seems that this is an acceptable startpoint.

For documentation issues I have done nothing.I saw that there were a lot
updates in the docs so I though that all changes are in.

In the bug tracking or patches of savannah are nothing belongs to the
docs?! Only the new bug report with patchfiles from Joel.

But I think that this is not a big trouble. It seems to be simple to add
the new things from both of you and that it, if you would like to do
this. Maybe some work is done twice now. Sorry for that. But the project
itself is not broken and it is still useable also without autotools. And
I answered all questions for beginners and all other users. So there is
no one who is not able to use simulavrxx... I hope :-)

And yes, my time is still not big enough to do everything on demand. So
it is possible that an answer needs a week or more and its possible that
a mail is lost in my brain. If so, mail it again ;)

And I want to please all, that we should not look in the past again and
again. To have not enough man power for a project is a problem, but in
this case, it is not the end of the project and not the end of usability.

I could spend maybe the next days to add the actual patches to CVS.

Sorry for all the trouble here... but remember: I spend! the time I have
for the project and I have actually no profit of my work at all, because
I have no own actual project with avr.

Regards
 Klaus
