Cool! How about renaming the old 'stable' branch to 'oldstable' then? That's the very old code base from 2009. People will be confused if there is a 'master' and a 'stable' branch.
I'm not sure, if it's possible to change the branch name, because this is on the server and I don't know, if I can change this remote. I think, I have to make some experiments before.
