This is important. It's no coincidence that PubSubHubbub and Webfinger
look the way they do; A limited profile of XMPP's PubSub (specifically
XEP-60 with subscriptions to full JIDs) is isomorphic to PubSubHubbub
as far as endpoints are concerned. "Upgrading" from HTTP to XMPP for
high-volume streams is entirely possible with no loss of semantics or
security.
