Octave / Savane

Hello. Couple of things.

Just to let you know that Octave will try to apply as an independent
org this year for GSoC. We worked last year under the GNU umbrella,
but I think we're big enough to go alone. I listed GNU as an
organisation that could vouch for Octave, so please do so in the GNU
application.

Something unrelated to Octave, I would like to see the Savane project
get some love this GSoC. How can I add this to the ideas page and
offer myself as a mentor for it?
