[Swarm-Modelling] Update on Swarmfest 2008: Question about potential Netlogo Workshop

Swarmfest has traditionally included workshops for modelling toolkits. This has not yet been arranged for this year's Swarmfest. However due to interested inquiries, the Center for Connected Learning and Computer-Based Modeling at Northwestern has been asked to offer a Netlogo workshop around the upcoming SwarmFest 2008. Several such workshops have been conducted at past Swarmfests and they have been well received. Netlogo is an excellent primer for those scientists interested in getting started in agent-based modelling, and both novices and experienced modellers can benefit from this program. The workshop would be one full day and the registration cost for the workshop would be $50. We'd like to gauge the amount of interest in such a workshop. If you would be interested in attending the workshop, please let us know by sending an entirely non-committal email to [mailto:address@hidden address@hidden by Friday, March 28th. Please also indicate which of the two possible dates (Sunday, May 11th or Wednesday May 14th) would work better for you.
