HAVE_HDF5

Hi,

Experimenting with Swarm's archiver functionality I have found that
HAVE_HDF5 is undefined on our system. Digging a bit around I realized
that this is set so by the configure script during installation.

Could anyone tell me what exactly is needed for having this variable
set?
