fancier probe displays

1.  I have a class with about 20 parameters, and for users I would like
to group them topically and insert descriptive names to remind people
what the parameters refer to. Possible?

2.  I would like to have a probe display with a pull down menu, like a
form item in HTML can be clicked on to reveal a pull down list of
options.  (instead of having people type in a number, for example, click
to reveal words like "option 1" and "option 2".)  Possible?
