If "best" means most expedient, for a small number of figures, then a
screen grab works. Stop the model, capture the whole screen, then use
your favorite photo editor, etc. to trim away the stuff you don't want
and save it in your desired format.

The other way is to use Swarm's "Pixmap" class to capture a GUI object
(or whole screen) to a .png graphics file. You can put the pixmap stuff
in your observer schedule so it writes a file every time step, or you
could put it in a probe display and actually execute it manually. I'm
sure Pixmap is covered in the FAQ ("how to make movies")

(Or- make movies of your coolest model runs, put them on your web site,
and reference the web site in your report.)
