How to read a HDF5 datablock b4 end of simulation?

Hello!

I am outputting data from my simulations to an HDF5 datablock (every
1e3 iterations; total of 1e5-1e6) and would like to see the contents
of the HDF5 datablock before the simulation is completed. Is there any
special procedure I have to perform in order to be able to do that?
(Such as "closing" the HDF5 file periodically?)

If I try to check the contents using h5dump before the completion of
the simulation it returns an error.

(I am assuming my usage of the HDF5Archiver is correct but maybe this
very question shows that it is not; if someone points me out that, I
can detail the code.)

Thanks a lot in advance!

Eiji
