[Swftools-common] configure avi2swf problem

[Zend]

I'm running Gentoo with the 2.6 kernel.  When I try to
run ./configure avi2swf gets the following error:

checking whether we can compile the avifile test
program... cat: conftest.c: No such file or directory
no
* Couldn't compile the avifile test program.
* Disabling avi2swf tool...

I've installed avifile. Anyone have any ideas?
