Tiger (3.2.1 and CVS at least) does not include configuration files 
for AIX 5. It should not be difficult to add support to it, however. 
Please read the 'README.unsupported' file in the root dir of the 
distribution. Summarising:

- check that Tiger can determine which OS is being used (modifying 
util/gethostinfo). The AIX code is there, but it has not been tested 
with 5.x, if you send us an 'uname -a' we could check that out.

- create the necessary systems/AIX/5/ files (there are scripts to 
create the necessary files there). Currently there are only 
systems/AIX/4 and systems/AIX/3 files.

If support has not been included (i.e. systems/AIX/5 does not exist) , 
Tiger will use the 'default' configuration (systems/default) which 
might (or might not) work properly. It might generate some errors when 
run but it should work in most (generic) UNIX systems.

I don't have access to any AIX 5.x system in order to do this myself, 
if you can do it and contribute the result we could review it and add 
it to the latest sources.
