The tramp version I'm using is 2.1.12 and emacs is GNU Emacs 22.1.1.

Attached is the log of opening a file remotely which is managed by Git. I can see in the log that .svn and CVS dirs are searched but .git (and .bzr, .hg) are not.

In this message ( ), posted to this list, I can see in the log that .git dirs are searched as well so my instalation must be missing something... But what?
