Well, the reason I think it should be un/redoable is because I think
that anything that changes the song should be undoable, so that if you
go back in the history stack to any given position, the song will be
in the old state it was in at that point in history. Otherwise I feel
that the history stack lacks integrity.
I realize that it can make the history large, but so can lots of
microadjustments to a clip's position, gain, etc. I think music
editing inherently involves lots of little adjustments, which only
increases the importance of a large, solid, navigable history stack.
