gprolog 1.2.1 for Mac OS X

I appear to have a basically working port of the non-FD portion of 
gprolog 1.2.1 for Mac OS X/Darwin 1.3.1. (I don't know what the problem 
with the port of the FD facility is, yet.)

I would like to have a Mac OS X port added to the "official" gprolog 
distribution--how should I proceed? Should I be working with one of the 
"unstable" versions (e.g. 1.2.6)?
