Hello.
Typing «А» (large cyrillic A) letter in search entry leads to jumping back
in search history instead of appearing of that letter in entry.
In LaTeX mode with enabled match parentheses «о» (small cyrillic o) is
matching with «<» character as well as «>» character.
Vile version: 9.7zc (but issues appeared in other 9.7 versions).
Locale: ru_RU.UTF-8.
