Hi Martin,
In response to http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?31291 I'm currently
considering making -K the default for wdiff.
Sounds right.
Does anyone know of a system where "wdiff -t" produces a desirable
result and "wdiff -tK" fails to achieve the same result?
Not me. I expect Francois was working around some known buggy system
circa 1990, no longer relevant ...
Or can anyone think of a good reason why wdiff should send ti/te
termcap strings?
No.
According to my termcap man page, those are only for applications
that do cursor movement, so they shouln't be needed imo.
That's my understanding too.
Thanks,
k
