The only thing I noticed was that you wrote "HURD" instead of "the
Hurd". But that is not really important, at least not to me.
You wrote KDE and GNOME work on GNU/Hurd, but I am not sure about
that. Perhaps someone else can tell you if it works or not.
Otherwise you could check if there is a package.

IIRC the logo was made by Neal Walfield. I think he still owns the
copyright, but I am not too sure about it. I personally would agree
with your assumption that it is ok to use the logo unless someone
complains. :)
