   It would be great if you could check it for any factual
   inaccuracies that so I can fix them if there are any.

In your article you refer to:
http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/l4hurd/.  This page was never
related to the offical Hurd/L4 port, and it is obsolete in either
case.

The following changes should also be made:

HURD ==> the Hurd.

GNU/HURD ==> GNU/Hurd.

HURD-L4 ==> Hurd/L4 (this one is really a matter of style, but it is
                     the one that is used the most, including that it
                     fits nicely of the FOO on BAR naming)

See the FAQ for details.

Also, there is no effort as of yet to make a complete distribution of
GNU/Hurd with the L4 kernel. The Hurd/L4 port is only focusing on
porting the Hurd to L4. So refernce such as "GNU/HURD-L4" should be
replaced with just "Hurd/L4" or some such.

You also have a few typos like GNU March, which should be GNU Mach.

You write: The disadvantage of microkernels is that they generally run
slower than monolithic kernels

This is not true, microkernels can be as fast as a monolithic kernel,
and in a few cases faster. So there is no real proven disadvantage.

You also write that: operating system running on top of the powerful
L4 microkernel: A version of Linux running on L4 already exists, and
it is named L4Linux.

Linux is not a operating system, it is mearly a kernel so this should
be changed to reflect this.

"The execution of the first user program on GNU/HURD-L4 is a very
important historic first step towards the completion of the ambitious
project that could someday replace the Linux kernel in the GNU
operating system."

The GNU system is already complete, the versions of it might be old
but they do exist. Nor was there any intention of using Linux as the
kernel for the GNU system, the goal has always been to use the Hurd.

For what it is worth, I'm currently working on making a release of the
GNU system.

Happy hacking.
