Details:

Log events and so on to either XML or a database. 
Time in seconds plus the correct offset + nick(email|ip also?) + message(the
pure message eg including colors that may have been sent and return
characters?) and event(quit|part|join|dcc(including file name) and the rest
;) ).

I think that would be a thorough logging. Unless there might be others people
might like to add. I feel this would be a nice enhancement and one that would
be great since it would allow a excellent search feature and statisical
backbone for people, and equally another easy method for external usage.
