@darnir We automatically take advantage of new compiler flags. Except there is
a bug in gcc's `-Q --help=warning,C`, e.g. not all options are listed. Our
manywarnings m4 module is faster and needs less maintenance then gnulib's. If
someone has time we should offer gnulib a merge of their and our module, Bruno
Haible is positive about it. But it needs time to make it up and time is the
thing nobody currently has.
