Subject: | Fix for line number prefixing on output using -me and tables |
Date: | Sat, 7 May 2011 23:23:57 +0100 |
Dear Groff Developers - Here is a bug report and patch to 1.21 groff to fix for the handling of line number prefixing on output (via the .nm request). The fix is to the -me macros to work properly when .n1 and .n2 are used, and for the tbl preprocessor to handle numbered line output. At present, neither produce the correct results. I attach a test input file that shows the range of problems encountered, a PDF with the result of running groff 1.21 on this input, a patch that fixes the -me macros and tbl, and a PDF file with the result of running the patched groff on the same input file.
