It's nearly a year the project stopped.
Except from Derfel, who developed in the lonelyness of his powerful mind,
no-one had time to think about Ain.
Lately I began to think again about it, and I was wondering if there is hope
for Ain after all.
Someone had lost interest, others may be involved in the project. I will try
to move a bit this list, in order to see if someone finds the interest which
once had.
Last sunday we had a little talk about a brand new direction that the entire
project could take, and my actual interest is to verify if this direction
could be taken or not, and to apply some knowledge I got lately.
AFAIK, there is no similar project available. It could be because we're are
the first to think about it, or simply because it is not possible. :)
Btw, I will try to figure out my ideas about the framework. After all, we
already have many mmorpg and muds available, and it could be very difficult
to introduce something new in the world.
Applying Grid Computing concepts to out framework is something new to online
gaming, and I believe that an OSS is the only way right now to think about
such a technology. I will explain this a bit more later.
People interested could give a shout on the list, just to see who we are? :)
