Dear Listmembers, aspell-.28.2.1 with gcc version egcs 2.91.66 RedHat 6.2 aspell compiled and installed nicely. aspall -a works fine on the default dict. aspell --lang=myown create master ./myown < myownlist.txt seems to make the two dictionary files. I also created the myown.dat. But aspell -a --master=myown creates a half-Meg core file. I thought that after so many time somebody could have an explanation. TT in advance. Fritz PD: aspell runs here on a RH 8.0 with WBOSS and I have to express my deepest admiration to the programmer of aspell.
