[Aspell-user] Why Isn't Case Ignored When Doing Spellcheck If We Use the ignore-case option?

Sorry, I used the wrong subject line when first posting this.

 

Hi,

 

Just started playing with aspell (aspell 0.60), and I have a question. When I spellcheck a single word like "ibm", it says that this is mispelled and suggests "IBM".

 

Why is this considered a misspelling, even though I am using the option "ignore-case:true".
