Thanks, maybe you test it a little more and see how AUCTeX manages any
error messages issued by LatexMk and/or LaTeX.  I'm not sure how good it
works in that area.

Further, there was a report here about the current implementation not
being optimal[1].  Maybe we have to change `TeX-run-format' to
`TeX-run-TeX' at the end.

At some point, we will approach Paul and discuss with him what we
can/want to include into AUCTeX, but that will have to wait a little.
