May it is a personal defect of mine.
Let me try to explain this a bit better. For me right now the most
interesting new Latex package is called leanblueprint. It is connected
to the proof checkers, that are currently quite popular.
If I can make it work for my purpose, I am thinking for writing an
auctex style at least.
Nowe I feel rather uncomfortable to mess around with files that dwell in
elpa
in my case (~/.emacs.d/elpa)
and are *not* under version control!
Even when I started to write my first own latex documents, more than 20
years ago, I used RCS (and had to use also CVS, sigh).

no
I was referring to the mail
that gnus displays as
Xref: news.gmane.io gmane.emacs.auctex.devel:7596
Archived-At: <http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.emacs.auctex.devel/7596>
But these links then do not work
https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/auctex-devel/2024-04/msg00113.html
Seems the correct one
If someone knows how to extract the correct url, from the gnus headers,
reading it in gmane I appreciate it

I strongly condemn Hamas heinous despicable pogroms/atrocities on Israel
I strongly condemn Putin's war of aggression against Ukraine.
I support to deliver weapons to Ukraine's military.
I support the EU and NATO membership of Ukraine.
