I use AUCTeX 11.86. I just commented out TeX-view-program-list and
then also TeX-view-program-selection in ~/.emacs. But even with one
or both of them commented out Emacs freezes after C-c C-c. Starting
with a fresh .emacs only containing (require 'tex-site) it works ...
I'll clear my .emacs out. After that I'll try again to get Synctex
to work. Thanks so far!
