Got this problem on emacs23 on debian [0] and windows [1]. The compiling
process for preview-latex images won't finish. Only hogs cpu.
I tried customize-variable preview-image-type `dvi' and `dvipng'. Both
the same. Regular compilation as dvi or pdf and pretty much everything
else I've tried works.
How can I find out what's going wrong? preview-latex documentation isn't
very helpful in that regard.
Thanks for any help you can give!
[0] on debian I've managed to generate previews for whole document one
time, it worked only for inline $ ... math ... $ and equation environments.
[1] on windows only "soft previews" (substition of greek letters and the
like) work and not even equation environments work.
