Could you get the right people to fix this up?
Maybe the people who made the recording can do a better job.

i don't know if you are the person to talk to about the fsf.org website. I
spend a reasonable amount of [enjoyable] time there.
I know that Richard's speeches are a vital asset for the fsf. One of more
recent, at the link above, was recorded with the sound so low that it is
basically inaudible.
If the sound track could be separated from the video, and put into audacity. i
am sure this could be improved.
I hope to meet you someday. It is always nice to make a gnu friend.
