I meant where it should have been expanded 8-(
Seems the new autoconf was calling aclocal for me overwriting the
contents of aclocal.m4, and since the macros were in a non-standard
location, it didn't get the "-I" that aclocal got when I invoke it manually.
I've stuck it in acinclude.m4, and added read the acinclude app manual
to my todo list to figure out what I should be doing. I got doubly
confused because the upgraded autoconf was incompatible with the version
of automake I had installed, leading to other weird errors as well.
