It's great news!
I thought I had sent a message about AM_CONDITIONAL's first argument,
but I lost track of it. In a few words, since $1 appears in the
expansion of AM_CONDITIONAL, I think it too should be
m4_pattern_allow'ed. AC_SUBST is called only on $1_FALSE and $1_TRUE.
