I changed the headers so that replies remain in the autoconf list and
not over at the non-public www-discuss list.  That looks to have been
an unintentional artifact of the way that message was forwarded.

As to the translations, I like the silly things and appreciate the
sites that have a sense of humor.  But even given that I would
probably drop those two translations from the web page.  They were fun
and cute and we laughed but now let's not spend a lot of time and
energy to keep them going.  It is time to move on.  Happy if someone
does another silly translation and posts it though.  A sense of humor
is very important.

They are pretty strange.  I thought they were generated by an
automated tool?  If so and if someone cared about keeping them up to
date then perhaps an automated make-like rule should be added so that
those machine translations are done automatically when the main page
is updated?  Personally although I value the humor I would simply
remove them (or move them) if they are the cause of an effort to
maintain them.

Perhaps it would be useful to say in the "translations of this page"
part that translations are done on a best effort basis by the
translation team and may not be as up to date as the main version.
