Nope.  m4_text_wrap also uses it.

True; autom4te is mainly for quadrigraph, warning, and trace post-processing.

It's not that easy.  There is already an AS_TEXT_BOX, and it has different 
semantics (while m4_text_box always outputs a flower box at the current moment, 
AS_TEXT_BOX is polymorphic, and outputs a text box around $foo or `command` 
that matches the length of the output; something that m4_text_box cannot do).

Except that m4_text_wrap is heavily used (and even bison uses it).
