The best way is to use an automake conditional and then conditionally
include the source file in your _SOURCES variable.

Bryan>                         $(@LFBLCODE@) \
Bryan>                         getlfbla.c \
Bryan>                         getlfbld.c 

This won't work.  A _SOURCES variable must have static contents.
