Ok, that's clearer now: is not an fragment.

Another idea is to ask configure to concatenate and before building Makefile.  You can do that as


(See the Autoconf manual for details about AC_CONFIG_FILES.)

If you prefer to use AC_SUBST_FILE, you should say address@hidden@' in
your, not `include @mkfile@' as you initially wrote.
