Actually, I've never tested avrmon-stk200-0.6.0 with gdb-5.0, I've
only used it with the older 4.18 + patch.
Also, Karsten Schmidt pointed out in a posting on this list a month
ago, that he ran into a problem when trying to use the monitor with
gdb-5.0.

The target part of the monitor is not a problem.
The host part, however, is probably rather Linux specific because of
the parallel port manipulation.
