Okay... I Know... RTFM..... :-) I was a bit to fast simply copying those
files. I decently tried to install the libc. Changed the 'Makefile Win32' to
'makefile', and typed 'make'. It started out very nice, but gave me the next

avr-gcc -x assembler-with-cpp  -mmcu=at90s1200 -I./../include -I.

After this, a lot more errors of the same kind, referring to different lines
in gcrt1.S.
I changed the io-avr in order to direct it to iom103.h when no device was
defined, but this resulted in errors like
C:/VICTOR/AVRGCC/lib/avr-libc-20011029/src/gcrt1.S:125: Error: Illegal
opcode jm
p for mcu avr2
in different lines of gcrt1.S. I have no idea where to look for the error,
any help is welcome. I hope I'm not irritating you yet.....
