[avr-gcc-list] Newbie Question

Hi all,
This is my 1st mail to the list :>

Have just downloaded avr-gcc from avr-freaks (Win32 binaries-complete, said
to work with avr studio).

Did everything as described in the pdf doc to interface with avr studio.
Added the makefile & 'gcctest1.c' etc.
But when I click 'build' in avr studio, I get 'Linkage error. Stopped.'in
the progress window.

What did i not do right?
