Hi all,

I attempting to update my avr-gcc tools and have come across the following

Initially, I was using the rpms found at http://combio.de/avr/index.html.
Now I am attempting to update to the latest stable releases of the tools
because we are migrating to a ATmega8515 from AT90S8515. I have successfully
build the tools, binutils v2.13, gcc v3.2 and avr-libc 20020203, and have
used them without any issues thus far. I got the gnu sources from a gnu.org
mirror and the avr-libc source from savanah.

When I try to use avr-libc20020630, I am getting overlapping errors when it
is performing the linking. A typical error is..

/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/avr/3.2/../../../../avr/bin/ld: section .vectors
[00000422 -> 0000043b] overlaps section .data [00000422 -> 00000423]

Looking through the mailing list archive, it appears that there is a version
dependencies between avr-libc and gcc.

Does anyone know if avr-libc20020630 or later will work correctly with
official release of gcc v3.2, or will I have to use the pre 3.3 version of
binutils/gcc from savanah.

Thanks for you help.
