Hmm, I'd be very interested in this as well since I strongly believe in
organizing common functionality in libraries. In fact I have started a small
library for my RTC, USART, servo and Accelerometer code. As I recall COFF
supports this just fine but objtool has issues with it.

Guess I need to get my behind in gear and start helping out on that tool :-)
