Directive ".byte SYMA-SYMB" not work,
if there are:
    .space, .skip, .org ...
directives between SYMA and SYMB.
Result is: "illegal relocation size: 1".

For example,

    SYMA:  .space 10
    SYMB:  ldi  r16,1
           .byte SYMA - SYMB

not work, but:

    SYMA:  .rept 10
           .byte 0
    SYMB:  ldi  r16,1
           .byte SYMA - SYMB

work fine.
