[avr-gcc-list] Re: uisp + mac

If this is any help, the command I use on my 2000 powerbook is:

uisp -v -dprog=avr910 -dspeed=19200 -dpart=auto --erase --upload --verify if=< file.rom >

this uses the default port /dev/avr, which i create a symbolic link from the serial port that my Keyspan Serial-to-USB adapter creates (I use a terminal program such as Zterm to find that).

I'm using the programmer mentioned in Atmel app note 910, baud rate 19200. use 'man uisp' to get more programming options. This is a serial programmer; i haven't tried parallel programmers, since the parallel port hasn't been supported on macs until very recently (see keyspan adapters).

on my linux box i programm my avr device with

uisp -v=3D3 -dprog=3Dstk200 -dlpt=3D/dev/parport0 --upload =

Can somebody tell me, what options i have to use under MacOSX ?=20
Especially the device names for the parallel port etc.

(There is no /dev/parportX on the Mac)
